As part of the Ocracoke Harbor Inn Cottages, your stay includes access to the Inn’s waterfront facilities on Silver Lake Harbor and complimentary docking for boats under 35 feet, with advance notice at booking. The Inn also rents golf carts and bicycles, making it easy to explore the village. Inside, soft coastal colors, light oak floors, and comfortable furnishings create a bright, inviting place to settle into island life. Small bird decoys reflect the cottage’s history as a place where the owner carved birds and decoys, adding a personal touch to The Bird's Nest. The living area offers comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV with YouTube TV, while Starlink Wi-Fi keeps you connected. The full kitchen features white cabinetry, quartz countertops, stainless-steel appliances, and a blue island with a butcher-block top. A dining table for two provides a cozy spot for meals together. The separate bedroom features a queen bed, bedside reading lamps, and a ceiling fan. Bed linens and bath towels are provided. The bathroom includes a tub and shower combination, and an outdoor shower offers a refreshing rinse after a day at the beach.
